The Buzz: August 7th

Whew! It’s a H O T, sunny Sunday.  We started our day with a wonderful swim and beach walk at Baldwin Park in Paia.  We got there a little after 9 am and the place was packed.  Cars parkedlikedsardines everywhere.  Can’t remember it being that crowded ever.  Oh well, times are different now I guess.  Don’t get me started about the traffic going in and out of Hana Highway on the way to Hana!  Anyway, it’s all good and we have more music to play for you this evening and we hope to see you at:

Summer Grooves

P. S.  We had the best time last night playing at the JAZZ AT THE SHOPS gig at The Shops At Wailea.  Here’s a shot I took of Phil and our friend, trumpeter Steve Dubey, playing an instrumental piece they composed called “Playa Mojon”.  Mahalo to everyone that came and joined us and BIG mahalo to The Shops At Wailea for having us!
